  The meal was 5/5, out of the ordinary "salmon and chips". Loved the hint of alcohol in the fish batter. My husband and I declared the fries were perfection! The tartar sauce seemed full fat, therefore full of flavour with an excellent texture and a strong taste of dill. It may have been straight Mayo with dill added, but I loved it. The crisp coleslaw was delicate tasting and undressed, which was a nice change from the soured or creamy versions, sprinkled with black and white sesames. The waiter was polite, efficient, and did not infringe on our privacy. I like that he didn't perform to, or dote on us. Just real.

  I really like this place and sail over from Vancouver for a drink and supper every so often.
  
  BTW city folks, this is not the city, so come expecting things to be a bit casual.

  Very friendly service and nice elegant/rustic atmosphere. Great fish and chips special on Monday's. Good beer selection as well.......
